I am considering building this plane however I don't like the covering material and plan on changing it to glossy dark blue. The problem is I will have to paint the canopy and cowling. I know I can get matching paint by going to an automotive paint shop with a piece of film covering and they can put it in a rattle can for me. I don't have a paint gun. The question I have is will the auto paint be compatible with the plastic canopy and the cowling? Not sure what the cowling is made out of. Auto paints used to be rather harsh on plastic however modern paints may have solved this problem.
