I ended up going with Sierra main landing gear and a Robart retract tail wheel. I purchased all this from Darrall at Sierra, plus my wheels. They arrived in less then ten day's. I am impressed with the quality and how robust. Sierra's gear is a drop in fit into my wing, perfectly and the holes lined up properly. All I will need to do is feed in the air lines and screw the gear down. Darrall said to me his F6F giant tail wheel assembly does not fit into the Top Flight F6F tail area, and recommended the Robart tail wheel assy.
I did buy and receive a EME 60 cc gas engine, w/electric start. I purchased the electronic box to for operation with your Rx. and it will go into this model.
I was looking at Solo scale props for this airframe, made to fit my EME 60....but at $740.00, I will go with a three bladed wood or carbon prop. If I can find a scale 3 bladed prop to fit my engine...I will buy it. Until then...its going to be two blades. I am going to start with a 24x8 two blade Beechwood prop...and if I can find a nice scale three bladed prop at 22x10x3, or 23x8x3 I will purchase them. I still need to get a proper scale spinner for the engine.
It is the next model up for a build. I need to finish my 35 cc twin engine model first...a full build from AMR out of Canada.
