Default RE: Futaba T3PK - HRS Mode Information

Hi Tigger N. Bennie,

I just received word back from our head office, as far as getting more information for you on HRS, they will send information to me as soon as possible and I will get this posted on our website just as quickly as I can.

As for your concerns with using HRS mode with your 1/4 and 1/5 scale cars, they did say HRS will work fine as it does operate faster over than normal FM mode.

If you have the linkages on your brakes set up correctly, and there is no slop in them, you should have no problem using any of the digital servos at all. If you have any slop at all, being a digital servo, it will constantly keep trying to "center" itself, and yes, this will cause the servo motor to burn itself out quickly.

You may want to check something such as the S5050, you might find it is what you are looking for.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Sincerely,
Krysta
