You have a switch in the circuit so you only start on the jump battery. Then switch over and disconnect the jump battery once the start sequence is complete.

I use a 2000Mah for the flight and a 5000 for the start, that way they both last for weeks. Remember the flight battery is only driving the pump, not the burner and the starter. I also reconnect the jump for the cool down.
