Good point- its all relative, I suppose. A good setup at half the airframe cost- you've got an excellent combo.

Things have changed a lot with these high tech planes. The 3m CA's are less now than the 2.6m FC just two years ago, and the CA 3m is almost $2K less than what I paid for (FC). Not much motivation to sell mine due to this, but I'm having fun in the interim.

Anyhow, here's an interesting combo- DA 100 (or Equiv) on the 40% with the same # of 8611 servos as one would put 8411s on the 2.6m (two each aileron, one each elev, two rudder) weighing in at under 30Lbs. Very light wing loading and quite the show for 3D.

I understand someone in the area is quite successfully running a BME 102 on the 3m Extra.
