This works fine for the planes with a mid-fuse mounted wing, But the Waco top wing is well above the weight centerline of the plane so it hangs like a plum bob instead of a teeter totter (sp). The 4.5" point is in front of the lower wing LE so I can't use it for the pivot point. So, what kind of fixture would let the plane pivit so the CG is accurately indicated?

On my 1/3 Waco I made a ply former that slide on the wing tube and ante- rotation pin be for the wings went on, this former had holes in it that I suspended the model by and when I found the hole that levelled the plane then that determined my COG.
