I may not have done a good enough job describing what it is im doing. The Tx I am using is an old 72mhz JR 10s. To make it into 2.4 gig you remove the 72mhz rf module and install the Spektrum 2.4 model and a 2.4gig antenna. Since this is a 20 plus year old TX and was built and sold on 72mhz there is no"bind" option in the menus. I assumed that the way to bind it is exactly the way a 2.4 gig JR tx and rx is done. Install rx bind plug, power up rx and then while holding down the bind button on rf module you power the tx on and it goes into bind. That is what I tried with no luck. I just don't know what else to try. I will make another search for the intructions and absent finding them or someone on here helping me I will call Spektrum in the morning.
