I can't believe I've been doing this process wrong for over seven years of Kingtech turbine operations! I've always done the learn procedure with the trim up at mid-position, which showed 12% stick at idle. I think, if I remember correctly, the reason I did it this way was because the manual shows 12% at Idle in the pictures?
Considering I've completed hundreds of flights with no flameouts or unintended shutdowns I think I need to go buy a lottery ticket today as I'm feeling pretty darn lucky that I have not inadvertently shut one down in flight! - Tom
