The Wilmot Warlock was an early 70s airplane that used a highly swept wing, swept rudder hinge line, and a tandem gear with outriggers. plans are available on http://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=8878.

Original magazine article was in American Aircraft Modeler Feb 72.
A couple of years later, he came out with a much more conventional design called the Warlord, very sleek with the same swept rudder.
