Hey guys,

I think the BME 102 Don is speaking about is actually a BME 110 X-treme!
It is in a 3 meter Composite-ARF Extra and is owned by Kris Welter ?
The plane weighed 28.5-29 lbs I think.

I know because I had the chance to fly it a couple of weeks ago after an IMAC contest in Mocksville, NC.

This plane and engine combo is AWESOME!!!
It would go vertial for takeoff for ever.
It could be hovered easily with PLENTY of pullout power.


I have a 3 meter Fiberclasisc's Extra with a DA-150 and a Mejlik 32X10 prop.
We did a vertical drag race from takeoff and I got off the ground just before he did and he STILL BEAT ME!

My buddy also had a Composite-ARF 3 meter Extra with a 3W TOC 150 and Mejlik 32X10 prop.
They did the same drag race and it was VERY close.
