So I just installed a new set of rc bearings in my Saito 72 and there is a little slop in the main bearing. I can hear it. I wiggle the crankshaft from the front and it sounds like it’s coming from the main bearing. My gut tells me this is unacceptable. Should I order some higher quality boca bearings or go with what I have? Thoughts?
That is the very reason I don't use RCBearings, I ordered a set about 15 years ago or so for my friends Webra SilverLine 61 and I think the new ones were looser than ones I removed. Never again did I do that.
Boca Bearings for me only.
