Default Recommendations for a good Slope plane?

I'm looking for recommendations on a plane that would be good to learn Slope Flying or Soaring with. I have flown a lot of different planes and helicopters over the years but have only flown a couple gliders, and now I live in a very windy place where its hard to fly much else some days. I have owned a Horizon Hobby Whip-it and that really helped develop my love for RC gliders but I could only get about 45 second flight times at best and it really left me wanting. I took it to Enchanted Rock state park in Texas and flew off Turkey Peak and was able to fly around for quite some time and it performed alright but it really wasn't meant for that kind of flying the same for when I took it to the beach. I would prefer a kit to an ARF, some planes I've looked at are the SIG Riser, Great Planes Fling, Alula-Trek but I don't really like flying wings or foam planes. Would any of those aircraft be suited to what I'm looking for? I also have a GWS BF-109 that I haven't assembled that I thought of making into a slope flyer or maybe one of the Durafly Efxtras as well.
