Hi, I am building a steam powered kit by Krick. This is my first model build and my first exposure to radio controlled anything, so I really am clueless. The build is going surprisingly well. The materials are top notch and I have a source of help when I get stuck. I am at a point in my build where I need to purchase and install the RC elements. I know that I’ll need two servos, one for the rudder and one to operate the steam engine. I’ll need a transmitter, receiver, battery and off/on switch. The boat is a bit under 3 feet in length and it will weight about 5 lbs with its engine and ballast. I could use some suggestions as to what would work the best and where I might buy it.
