Crunchy, depends on what you consider fast. My 6.5 lb. H9 P51 with an FA62 does around 60 mph with an apc 12x7. A 12x10 might bring it up to around 70 mph but not without severly compromising thrust ie long roll outs on takeoffs and lack of pulling power for even the most basic aerobatics. At some point the airframe drag and flight characteristics dictate maximum useable prop pitch on any given airframe/engine combo.
The Dago Red is a little slicker airframe than my H9 P51 so you may get some decent speed with a 12x7 or 8 without sacrificing too much. Just my thoughts.
