So i have checked out all the eletric starts out there for sale and i dont like that you have to have a secounddairy battery to have one. I also noticed that no one else has attempted to make one themselves. I also love a challenge and im always tinkering with something. So i have started making my own electric starter for my 1/5 KM ksrc002. Oh ive also have already figured it out so i dont have to have a secoundary battery but i can also still start it from my remote. I have several hours into this but now that i have everything figured out, its time to make a final product. If anyone is wondwring im using a 775 motor out of an old Ryobi drill. The reason im using one of those motors is because the voltage regulate the speed of the motor. So the motor is 6v to 24v. I am curious if anyone else has attempted this. What got me going on doing this was, i was looking for a roof scoop for the top of the roll cage that actually collected air and didnt just have light in it or something. Well i looked and looked and looked but couldnt find one. So i made a pretty sweet looking one fore that and sence these motors are air cooled i figured the more i can blast past it the better. Then i made myself some siderails so that grass and mudd would stop getting caked inside my vinyl body. Those also turned out badass. But i really thought the electric start was a cool idea. I mean i didnt mind pull starting it because it starts so easy but just the idea of starting the car from the controller was a whicked idea. Im also a newbie on RC Universe but ive read alot of stuff on here and just wanted to show some of the things ive done. I will have puctures soon but let me know what u guys think thanks.
