I did a search on the SE to see if there is any advice on mounting a Saito .72. Unless I missed something I couldn't find anything to address my question.

When I test mount the Saito (the firewall isn't mounted on the fuse yet), I find that the carburator backs up against the motor mount so the engine sits out much further on the mounts than the plans show. With the weight of the Saito I want to keep it closer to the firewall, not further out.

Any advice on mounting the Saito? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks
