June 6-8, Warbirds and classics over Michigan at the CARDS club in Lansing, Michigan.

This is the first event of a total of 7 coordinated by the Warbird & Classics Alliance (WCA) that will occur this season in the mid west: Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota.
66 pilots with a 'ton' of planes.

1000' all grass runway.

My new 10X20' popup from Menards. Glad I bought it. I wanted something that would keep the 'elements' out and the side walls work great: also, everything in the popup is dry when there is a lot of dew the next morning. It weighs 134 pounds but a lot of the weight is in the top and side covers so I only store the frame in the carrying case and put the top and sides into a plastic storage bin. Also, need corkscrew anchors and ratchet type tie downs on all four corners to insure against the 'winds'. Zipper on one end allows easy access. Edges are connected by velcro.
