Yep, when I got to the airplane the engine had literally cut a nice little patch of indigenous grass and weeds! I traced some inconsistant running to a leaky fuel tank, so now it is running very steady. Of course, contest time will have some effect on the engine... it will probably shred a bearing. Ha!
