I am currently living in the USA and there is a possibility that my contract might be extended. I am thinking of shipping one or 2 of my models across from the UK but will need a turbine waiver.
Does anyone know how this would work in practise? I have 100s of turbine flights but nothing logged as that isn’t a UK requirement. Will I need to log 50 high-performance flights (which will require me to buy another model)? Will I need to buddy box or just carry out the qualification flight? What about the 5 ‘supervised’ solos after the qualification flight?
I have asked the AMA but, so far, they have only confirmed that I will need a waiver.
