I'm not familiar with the CA Model Evolution...
Is it by chance the Jason Shulman designed Epic Evolution plane?

A couple of other options to consider:
Buying a RTF 2m plane from a competitor who is upgrading or has too many planes. Fully setup takes all the guesswork out of it (although setting up a pattern plane for a maiden is straightforward ... even I can do it)

Another entry level 2m plane is the Caelus (from TopModel RC and sold by Mike at F3AUnlimited)
