My personal favorite these days for intro is the Sebart Mythos 125 or the AJ Acuity. Both are excellent budget airplanes that fly exceedingly well. My big advice for you is to find an established pattern pilot in your area through NSRCA and have them work with you to setup and trim the airplane. Just because you buy a pattern airplane doesn't mean it will fly like a pattern airplane. The setup on these airplanes is critical and btw part of the fun! Setup on jets, 3D etc does not translate to F3A machines. Also, don't be mesmerized by the beauty of the top end machines. If not setup by someone who knows what they are doing in pattern, they will fly like crap.... -Ken
