Don't forget you also need to have a decent compressor and make sure you have a filter to eliminate water and oil. I have a 30 gallon one, seems to be reasonably adequate. I've shot paint with smaller ones, you can do it but, you're constantly stopping your work and waiting for the tank to fill.
