Magic Muffler I believe was a brand. I don't know what they used on the larger engines as it appears to be made from something else. I don't know if I have a shot from my old .21 OB.
I don't know if a remote needle is a must. If so you still have to mount it as close as possible to the carb. It appears to already have a needle on it.
