Yes, at root! We have flown it with the LE on a separate channel and played with different amounts from nothing to 1/2" and anything over 1/4" makes a difference. If you tend to fly faster I'd keep it to a minimum even at full flap, it puts quite a load on the linkage if you fly fast in full drag mode.
