It’s funny you mention the changes in the car from the first runs to the Champion’s Edition. I recently rebuilt my Edinger with the 6-gear transmission and while scrounging for parts online I came across a CE for next to nothing, cost wise. Instead of using the parts I restored the CE. I originally installed another 6-gear but acquired a Stealth transmission and will install that this weekend. The Edinger is running Brushed / NiMh and the CE is sporting a Brushless / 2s LiPo. Major speed improvement and you’re correct. With no sentimental value to the CE, I feel fine about the faster mods. Now if I can keep it from blowing over at speed lol.
