I was wondering if there are plans available that will allow the building of canard type aircraft... (particularly a Long-EZ or Velocity canard type) that can be powered by electric motors. I imagine the scale would be even less than what I've see in 1/5 scale kit form.

I'm building a full scale cross country Cozy Mark IV (4 seat version of the Long-EZ). This will take years to complete and fly. In the meantime my fascination for canard flight drives me to your r/c world and building an electric Long-EZ or electric Velocity type r/c model.

Can the full scale aircraft plans be reduced to a size to serve as r/c models that could be powered by electric rather than gas engines.

Any ideas on what limitations there are in electric powered aircraft... size / weight / etc.?
