The graphics are coated with a thin clear plastic. Tough to sand or remove with chemicals. I took a razor blade and scraped off the plastic...then wet sanded with 180 & 220. Very easy once I figured out how to remove plastic shield. It will come off is huge hunks once you get the blade underneath a bit. Hope that helps.
