I’m finally getting around to getting my Saito 72 out back together so I can move onto rebuilding the 90T I picked up.
The question I have is the original main bearing has a metal shield on both sides. I have a replacement Boca bearing metal shield and rubber shielded bearings. I’m assuming it’s OK to leave the shields on since the original had it or should I remove them?
