Well, I finally finished with the rebuild of my fa-72. I think it’s pretty low time, just improperly stored and had rust in certain places. I ended up removing the rear shield on the main bearing because I deformed it a bit during the bearing installation. Not perfect but cleaned up real nice IMO and has super compression. I decided to save the carburetor upgrade kit for later and see how the engine runs first. The muffler still looks a little nasty. Should I sand it or is there a better way the clean that up?
Next up will be a 90T.
