If the needles are flush with the needle housings then they are still at factory settings. If you had an air leak it would be hard to control the idle. Also I had an over heating issue with my traxxas jato 3.3 which turned out to be the bearings for the bellhousing. One of the bearings blew apart and was causing alot of friction.. if your truck wont move checkcypur driveline for binding and check the bearings related to the clutch.....just realized thread is 4 years old
