I saw it at at JP and it had a 260 but never when abobe 75% of power, (my friend did the flights there) as you know this are super light... KT I heard is having a 220 very soon and for my Pro it would be just 180, I’ve flown a Pirotti on a P180 and was superb..
I’ll go with the new K180G4 that uses the same case of their k160G2 so it’s gonna be light...
My Rebel HOT with an 85, I don't find to be over-powered at all for my flying style, even at a 1.2:1 thrust to weight ratio at take-off. I also know how to use my left stick and do so, all the time.
The smallest turbine I would go with would be a 210, but I honestly know I will likely be disappointed in thrust performance, unless I can get TO weight to 40lbs - which, with smoke, I don't see happening. If the 240-250 that I am looking at ends up only being a pound or so heavier than the 210 while offering 10lbs more thrust, it's a no-brainer for me. I personally love the idea of not over-working a turbine. They stay happier for longer that way.
My Rebel classic is getting a 170 It's in my 2.2M predator right now and I find the power to be only 'satisfactory'...
I should also add that where I fly has a density altitude almost always above 5,000 feet, and nearing 10,000 feet in the summer, which may be factoring in on my personal taste as far as power goes.
