Hi Gerry, thanks for the note. I can't say that I had any problems with the tailwheel but I see what you mean. Another 'mod' that I did was to replace those springs (between the rudder and tailwheel steering arm) with solid wire and EZ Connectors (for adjustment). My thinking was that the tailwheel isn't on the ground all that much, except for taxiing, so I wasn't worried about damage to the servo. I'll take a closer look at the tailwheel assy that I scavenged off of my wreck and look for signs of damage. I might also still have one from a Previous Rascal 40 (I had two of those).
SIG says that they are building up the 'kits' now, and Tower says that the Red/White has an order pending and that the Blue/White Rascal is due on the TH site in early May.
If that doesn't come through, I just might pick you up on your offer. Which color combo do you have on the shelf?
