Stuff like this happens when people let their guards down, no matter the organization involved. The good is that the pensioner made the ordeal alive without serious injury. The pilot was able to bring the aircraft and himself safely home with aircraft suffering minor damages. That incident will probably be classroom material for safety for a good while.
My guess even the depends got a workout that day!!!!!!!
