Always wanted to use a engine but not YS as my budget is not that high... but I wonder how would a OS gas engine perform against the YS in terms of torque & why not many people are using a gas engine in a F3A plane? any idea please help..
2 strokes on a pipe, always get that jump when they come onto the pipe and don't have the torque as YS.
YS, especially the cdi versions, produce more mid range torque, so can swing bigger props at lower revs. They also provide better down line braking and much easier to get constant speed.
Overall, YS will out perform the OS.
