Pump question. I’ve run plenty to greater hours, but they do deteriorate as the brushes wear. It’s a component that is almost impossible to judge wear on in our use. The note alerts you to monitor performance near the 25 hours running, if starts fail or idle stability changes look at the pump.
Also, the motors are not what they used to be, the brush gear has changed material. It’s why all manufacturers are slowly changing their ranges to brushless.
To me it’s like the 25hour service recommendation, so many factors influence life of the components
