RE: What else can you use to make a fuse, other than kevlar and glass?
Thanks. I'm scratch building an f-18 from my own designed plans and I'm concerned about the weight of the fuse being that it only has a 34"ws. An now that the plug is just about complete....I'm scared to death of glassing and adding too much weight.....it's really an r&d project, but I dont want to have to start over because I made the fuse to heavy. Is it normal practice to add micro ballons to the epoxy while glassing? as you can see I have have no idea what I'm embarking on....a new journey for me.. Thanks. BTW, I'm planning on the lost foam method.
