Default .40 Size Electric

Hey all,

I have a .40 size electric motor that I reversed the shaft on by removing the "e-clip" and then pressing the shaft out to the other end so that I could use a collet for my spinner, the shaft is secured to the motor can by means of a set screw on the prop-end, the other end that goes against the firewall doesn't have the e-clip any longer because there is no groove for it, it just protrudes past the bearing a tiny bit. As of right now, the magnets are basically holding the can in place, but if I pull hard enough I can remove the entire can, prop, and spinner from the winding's....lol, are the magnets going to be strong enough to keep it secure while its spinning?, or will I need to secure the other end somehow with an e-clip?

Thanks all
