The prototype was flown with a P-60 and a friend flew his with a P-60 for several years, mainly from grass. The smaller turbine needs full beans longer, so the 2.9ltr stock tank is perfect for 8 minute flights. The weight saving of a smaller tank is not worth it. Build light, ignore the extra rubbish people fit.
Assemble the model before you start the build. The wing spar is a snug fit, chamfer the end to lead it into the nylon clamps and don’t be frightened of a good smack on the tip to get it seated.
Like AP said strip and reassemble the gear, air is lighter than electric and my old Xcalibur still holds air after 7 years and hundreds of flights.
The hinges are easier to install if you drill through the hinge socket backs with a 1/16” drill to remove the air pocket.
