Default RE: Help for a warped elevator

Test the Krylon on a test panel before you commit to it on a plane. I have yet to find any Krylon that is even remotely fuel proof.

If you want dope, go to <www.brodak.com> or <www.clstunt.com> for Brodak dope. They will gladly ship it to you. It is butyrate, mixed by Randolph to model specs. It is the state of the art product in airplane dope. Dries quick, sands easily, and buffs to a glorious shine.

I'd suggest covering the bare wood with silkspan before painting. Don't panic, it's easy with dope. But the grain in the wood will always rise up through the paint in a few weeks or months and look raunchy.
