RE: Is the Traxxas T Maxx reliable?
The diff gears are stronger than rrp gears..ahahahahahaahaa thats funny ! they may be stronger than some aftermarket crud, but they still suck ! Its the whole diff design that sucks, the bearings and totally inadaquate and not protected from dirt ingres. Is my T-Max truck stock @!.. of course not ! it had to be fixed/improved so I could drive it at all !
j-maxx - yeah maybe if you spend TWICE(or more) the trucks value on parts you could have a good truck....but I`d rather have a buggy, a Savage and an on-road car than a expensive piece of crap T-Max.
Is my Savage stock would be a better question !....and altho I have installed a powerful engine it IS still bone stock otherwise !!!!!! Completely stock and it rocks...and gets the crap thrashed/jumped/crashed out of it and comes back for more.
I can also see it being stock for a long time yet... it doesn`t need any upgrades !
