I have recently bought a second hand ftl 45cc engine with no silencer I've tried everything to try and get it to run its only ran for no longer than 3sec at a time, Dose any one know if these engines definitely need an silencer for running properly but this is looking like fuel starvation. I'm currently working on getting an silencer for it ASAP.
the ignition battery is 4.8v, standard spark plug, r/c is 2.4ghz Prop 18x10" and it's fresh petrol can anyone help.
