IT'S FIXED!!! I ended up swapping the polarity of the motors (thanks for the video Gary) Here are some photos. Still some accessories to be added and an eventual smoke unit (can't believe I do not have one yet!). Definitely heading over to Taigen near Christmas time to get some cool stuff!

The spare track rust came out good though.
All rust was a mix of airbrushed paints. My first rust-job!
