You saw the vertical take off and landing, not too hard to do the math on the other specs to prove that it most certainly COULD HAVE been seen at 3,000' feet by commercial airline pilots.

So yes, by definition this was totally possible. The question I have to ask though is "by who". Since, according to Jetpack Aviation, one can only rent one of these things under heavy supervision. But they are not for sale, so if it was one of theirs, who got their hands on it?
