i am currently flying a top race sky eagle rtf. it has beginner/intermediate/advanced modes.

i trained on beginner, and intermediate was a whole nuther learning process, even the you still have gyro, you can loop, and the controls are much more twitch. makes wind a bigger problem as well.

i tried advanced on a calm day on my volantex sport cub (basicaly same as the top race) and immediately nose dived into the ground. i went up a little higher, same thing, and now i have to repair the broken wing.

i suspect it takes a lot of talent to fly these little planes without gyro, so i am going to look for a trainer, something in the 36-48" range to help learn without gyro.
