Old Man w/ TL-01
Made a lengthy post over in the on-road section. I'll try to keep it shorter here.
Found a pair of TL-01s while cleaning out my shop and decided I would like to build them up a little. Before anyone starts, I know that there are better chassis to be had. I have a standard and lightweight TL-01 that haven't seen daylight for at least 15 years. They deserve to run. Even old tigers hunt. lol.
My questions are, I want to brushless, what would be a good range for this chassis? Stock or tuned gear set? Not to worried about run time but, I also don't want to start a fire. I'm already looking into some suspension, wheel, and tire upgrades. Any ideas for chassis and gearing?
