The first one IS definately the hardest. It certainly was for me. There is a lot to learn to get a good covering job, finding the right temperature for the covering it tough. I prefer Ultracote because it has a paper backing that is easier to get off than the clear backing on monocote. Ultracote also seems to require a lower temp. setting to get it to adhere, and will stand up to a heat gun a little better. But, it can't be shrunk as many times, IMO. Both look GREAT in the air :-). 40' in the air, and you will not see the imperfections! And after all, flying IS what it's all about :-). I hope you like the transparent film more than I. My ultrastick has transparent film that looks really cool on the ground, but it is difficult for me to orient accurately (hard to tell if it is level at 100 feet overhead) in the air.
