Spencer, I use Solidworks, but it's a bit pricey if you're going to use it for just model stuff. If you can learn to use Fusion 360, that's probably a smart route. I've never played around with it. Solidworks is very similar to Catia and ProEngineer, if you've had any experience with those systems.
