Spencer, I use Solidworks, but it's a bit pricey if you're going to use it for just model stuff. If you can learn to use Fusion 360, that's probably a smart route. I've never played around with it. Solidworks is very similar to Catia and ProEngineer, if you've had any experience with those systems. Here is an assembly pic of my Su-17 Fitter project (1/6 scale).
