Take a look at the RX4R. Appears to be a current version that would replace the old V8R4. And it is only 2.4 grams!
It supports both ACCST and ACCESS, and also can support redundancy, if that even matters.

You might have to flash it to match whatever version of ACCST you are using. (1 or 2.x), but that's true of all current Frsky ACCST receivers.

Just to recap:
A very, very rare 'bug' was found in the original ACCST firmware (1.0) Most have flow for many years and it never happened. Frsky issued an update for their transmitter modules AND their receivers. It is not backwards compatible - so if you update the transmitter, you have to update all your receivers, or they will not bind. And vice versa: 2.x firmware on the receiver will not bind if ver 1 is on the TX.
This means on new receivers, you have to make sure 1) whether EU or non-EU (FCC) and 2) whether ver 1 or ver 2.x There is no way to see beforehand what is on the receiver, it will either bind, or it won't.
This is completely different than the version of OpenTX you may be running, which does not have to be changed.
The update can be done on even the oldest x9d's. See the frsky site for the updates and how-to-flash things if you need to.
