Cowling Question for the Brotherhood!
Pardon my jumping into your brotherhood.
~15-20 years ago, I had 2 Great Planes 40s (and a 60 at one point)
I was cleaning out and had an almost new extra kit (in the box) and sold it to a nice young man (and gave him a busted up plane as spares, plus a bunch of other goodies). Wanted to give someone else the pleasure of flying the Ultra Sports!
The only problem... I must have robbed the new kit and now there is NO COWLING!
Great Planes support told me they no longer have any parts, and that I should try and connect with RC forums.
Does anybody know how I might find a cowling for the Ultra Sport 40?
I found a cowling on (KingCobraOfFlorida dot com <-- I cannot post URLs) that looks "similar" and it is for the Ultra Sport 46/EP ARF kit-- I wonder if it would do the trick?
Thanks in advance for any pointers on how to deal with a missing cowling in a kit ;-)
