Default Mezon Pro Brake setup

Just wondering if any pattern guys have been using the Mezon Pro and come up with an optimum brake set up? The Pro version of the Mezon provides the capability of having proportional braking power as a function of the throttle stick position. I haven't tried it yet and am hoping someone else has come up with a set up that they are happy with. I've been flying the Pro in a 62 inch Acuity but have used my normal set up which has worked very well on the original non Pro Mezons. However, it doesn't work as well for some reason.. Here are some problems I have observed:

Normally I can set it up so that the motor will start at idle when I throw the throttle cut switch from on to off. With the Pro I need to jog the throttle after throwing the throttle cut switch to get it to start and then it will idle reliably until I turn on the throttle cut.

I have used a push button on the throttle stick to pulse the brake on landing approach if I am coming in too fast. The motor continues to run at idle after the pulse or pulses due to the forward motion of the prop through the air. With the Pro the motor stops on the first pulse and won't start again until I jog the throttle stick.

Worst of all, I don't seem to get signifiant braking on the downlines.

So the bottom line question is: Is anyone happy with a Mezon Pro in a patter airplane and if so how have you set it up?
